Movie review : MR. MORGAN'S LAST LOVE

"Directed by Sandra Nettelbeck, ‘Mr. Morgan's Last Love’ is a usual romantic light drama based on Francoise Dorner's French novel 'La Douceur Assassine' . It starts Michael Caine as Mr. Morgan, a lonely retired philosophies teacher and a widowed cut in the routine of life and the beautiful Clémence Poésy, a tcha tcha instructor who’s still figuring out her ways in this life time.
Set in the beautiful streets of Paris, this movie tells the story of a widowed American and a young Parisian girl who meet in the bus by an accident by I like to think by fate.
What I liked about this film is that it is about the characters, about problems between the father and son, about the father missing his deceased wife and trying to find a reason to live and move on, and that’s what he found by meeting Pauline. The relationship between the two is not about the traditional love between man and woman rather than a much greater than life not explainable relationship between two human beings who suffered quiet enough and looks for companionship. Although it’s a drama movie and not much happening, you will never get bored rather than keep excited what is going to occur afterword. It’s well acted, well directed, deep, it will move you, will make sad, will make smile and will renew your hope about relationship between people. If you like ‘feel good movies’, you would like very much this one."
